Rule:

To change a percent into a decimal, move the decimal point two places to the left.

Examples:

1) Convert 25% to decimal number:

Move the decimal two places left:

👉 25. → 2.5 → 0.25

2) Convert 7% to decimal number:

Move the decimal two places left:

👉 7. → 0.7 → 0.07
