1. How to Add Numbers

🧠 Line up the digits by place value (ones, tens, hundreds...), then add column by column, starting from the right (the ones place). If a column adds up to 10 or more, carry over to the next column on the left.

Example:

Step 1: Line up the numbers

Step 2: Add from the right:

Ones: 9 + 8 = 17 → Write 7, carry 1
Tens: 8 + 3 = 11, plus the carried 1 = 12 → Write 2, carry 1
Hundreds: 6 + carried 1 = 7

✅ Answer: 727
